NIU Vigil

Wanted to share a photo I took from the candlelight vigil Virginia Tech had for NIU. We had one last April to honor students of our own, so it seemed fitting to do the same for NIU. Everyone wore red and black to show their support, and we even sang a few verses of "Amazing Grace." It's hard to believe these two events would happen within a year of each other, it's really sad this keeps happening. You never know what's going to happen anymore.

Neglect Begins

I think I've figured it out. The times when I want to start a blog happen to be during a break from school of some sort. Then I get deep into the bowels of the semester and I have a million things going on (well, just 6 classes, 2 jobs, a podcast and a website to take care of) and I just don't feel like blogging. Not just blogging, but other things I enjoy like photography, reading and playing piano. It all just drains me and leaves me exhausted. So I'm looking forward to school being over so I can enjoy life again.

Anyway, it just dawned on me, so I thought I'd share with my readers reader.
